Welcome to Kaien Decor ("we", "us", or "our"), operated in India. We design, manufacture, and distribute bespoke 3D-printed lighting, figurines, and interior decor. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, and safeguard your personal information in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Information We Collect
When you browse our studio catalog or place an order, we may collect:
- Customer Identification: Full name, shipping address, city, state, and 6-digit Indian PIN code.
- Contact Credentials: Mobile phone number (for WhatsApp dispatch notifications & courier tracking) and email address.
- Payment Metadata: Transaction reference IDs, UPI Virtual Payment Addresses (VPA), or payment confirmation tokens. Note: We do NOT store your credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs.
- Technical Telemetry: Device screen resolution, browser type, and operating system to optimize spatial 3D rendering.
2. How We Utilize Your Data
- Fulfilling and routing print jobs to our in-house multi-material 3D printer micro-farm.
- Generating logistics manifests with Indian courier partners (Delhivery, BlueDart, DTDC, India Post).
- Sending automated real-time dispatch updates and tracking links via WhatsApp or SMS.
- Complying with statutory 18% GST invoicing and tax reporting in India.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We employ minimal local client-side storage (localStorage) strictly to preserve your shopping bag contents, wishlist preferences, and dark/ambient mode settings. We do not sell your behavioral data to third-party ad brokers.
4. Data Retention & Security
Your delivery credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). Order records are retained only as long as necessary for tax compliance and warranty servicing.
